Objetives

This network is assembled with a triple purpose:

* To identify specific molecular and cellular events responsible for functional decline of the brain during aging.

* To identify causes and mechanisms by which normal functional decay becomes pathological as in Alzheimerí’s disease (AD).

* To identify molecular targets that could help to prevent or ameliorate this disease and also to improve AD early diagnosis and treatment follow-up.
